If you are doing custom one of's, then you need something that quickly design's and outputs a parts list.

There will be some who may disagree, but in general, if neither of those two does what you are looking for, I can assume the only step left from there would be Inventor or Solidworks.and neither is for the faint of heart.
MICROVELLUM TOOLBOX 7 FORUM SOFTWARE
MV and CV are probably the one two punch of best cabinetry software out there for the industry. Anybody have thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance, Stacey H. We are not looking to coordinate with CNC as this machine is currently too out of date to accept a software link. Money is not really such a big deal, but I don't want to spend $15 k. Does anybody have any experience with a good cabinet manufacturing software or know of any that are good? We are way to busy to jump into a new software that have a giant learning curve. I am currently now looking to continue with Autocad as we are too custom to properly utlize either one of those programs ( time nor money to invest ) So, now I am looking to see if we upgraded only our manufacturing software instead. I am looking to update, but I explored Microvellum and Cabinet Vision and decided neither one is exactly what our company needs.

We use Product Planner ( previously pattern systems ) as our cutlisting and manufacturing software. I posted a while ago about my issue, I work for a high end custom cabinet manufacturer, we use Autocad as our primary drawing program.
